The recent restoration of this 19th century property has been carried out carefully, to retain the history of its thick stone walls and chunky oak beams.

The cottage is available as an entire house or divides into two apartments with their own front doors. As one property, it has three double bedrooms, a sofa bed in each reception room with a further galleried sleeping area that comfortably sleeps two. A cot is available on request.

Each apartment has plenty of character with grand living areas with dining tables whether dining a deux or a dozen for dinner with comfortable sofas and a fully fitted kitchen. A large dining table for 8/10 people is available in the upstairs apartment. There are two ensuite shower rooms plus a further bathroom in the upstairs apartment. Each kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and cooker and there is a shared utility room with washing machine and ironing facilities which can be used by both apartments. There is an outside dining area on the pool terrace.

The apartments and the house are fully kitted out with DVD players. A DVD library of recent and classic films both in English and French is available.

As an apartment, this upstairs area of the cottage has a double height reception room with vaulted ceiling. It is spacious: an area of 92 sq metres. It comprises an open plan living area with kitchen, large dining table and two sofas in the living area.

It has one double and one twin bedroom, one ensuite shower room and one further bathroom plus a galleried sleeping/living area with daybed for two, suitable for older children. One of the living room sofas is also a sofa-bed.

The downstairs apartment benefits from a split level reception room with direct access to the garden and swimming pool and has one double bedroom with ensuite shower room, plus large open plan living area and dining room with a dining table for 4-6 people. It is 72 sq metres. One of the sofas is a sofa-bed.

The 18th century stone house, adjacent to the cottage, is available for Parc Bons-Voisins lettings from the beginning of June until the end of September.

It has five king or double bedrooms and three bath or shower rooms. The master bedroom features a four-poster bed and open plan bathroom with a lovely Juliet double balcony view over the garden and pool. Salon with a widescreen Sony television and DVD player in the living room, which has French windows on to the garden. The garden has both a barbecue/lunch area and a pergola area for formal dining. There is a gourmet kitchen and dining room for 10/12 plus extra living space in the form of a study/playroom on the top floor.

The whole of the PBV cottage complex can be booked throughout the year by special arrangement and can host a party of up to 20 people easily. It is particularly suitable for large-scale entertaining.
